"firmware" - This directory contains subdirectories for all models that have firware available. Usually these are demo programs that were used to run Crestron products at tradeshows such as InfoComm and CEDIA. "demos" - This directory contains demo programs that show off our hardware and software. Usually it is limited to certain marketing files. The anonymous area is an area that anyone, including people without 7-digit customer numbers can access. The content in this area is very limited, and at times, there may be no files found there at all. "_to_anonymous_directories" - This is a shortcut that will take you to the anonymous area of our FTP server. Once you have logged in to our FTP server, you will see the following top-level directories (the list below is current as of November 2004). Once you have that, you can log in to our new FTP server the same way you log in to our website. To gain access to all of the resources on the server, you must have an account on our website with your 7-digit "Customer Number" entered correctly.
We also introduced a level of security to our new FTP server. This is a description of the directory structure that Authorized Crestron Dealers and Partners will see. Below is a description of the directory structure as well as the new location of some directories that have moved. Please note, you will not be able to double-click on a file to open it directly from the server - it must be dragged-and-dropped to a local folder on your computer before you can open it.įinding files on our FTP server is now easier than ever. To transfer files from our FTP server to your computer you can simply drag-and-drop files. If after logging in the first time, the status bar on the bottom of your Windows Explorer window reads ""Anonymous"", you will need to repeat step 3.Ĥ) If you are an Authorized Crestron Dealer or Partner, you should see a directory structure similar to the one below.
